With over 15 years of legal practice, Michal has gained invaluable experience through engagements with top-tier Slovak law firms.
Commencing his professional journey, Michal served as a lawyer at the Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre under Transparency International Slovakia.
Subsequently, from 2011 to 2015, Michal developed his professional skills as a legal trainee at the law office Hillbridges, s.r.o., where he worked on a variety of major commercial and M&A transactions in the Slovak market.
After successfully passing the bar exam in 2015 at Slovak Bar Association, Michal worked as an attorney (Senior Associate) at the law office Bartošík Šváby s.r.o.
Throughout his professional journey, Michal has developed expertise in a variety of compelling projects, with a primary focus on M&A, venture capital advisory, real estate law (especially commercial leases) and commercial/corporate agenda.

In addition to completing master and postgraduate law programs in Slovakia (2010 Mgr., 2014 JUDr.), Michal holds an LL.M. degree (with distinction – cum laude) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a top-ranked European university, where he studied International Business Law (International Commercial and Trade Law programme) under the Vrije Universiteit Fellowship.
During his practice, Michal has provided advice to clients on various debt, equity and quasi-equity transactions and investments (such as investment agreements, loan agreements, share purchase agreements, convertible loan agreements, etc.). The activities of the firm included also legal advisory in secondary transfers (exits) within target companies and the structuring of related guarantees / security for investors (including pledge agreements, guarantees, put / call option agreements, etc.), as well as ensuring the implementation of so-called ESOP structures and handling a diverse corporate agenda.
